Despite the challenges, there is still great potential for strong business and revenue growth, considering the low penetration rate,tax relief incentive and health tourism. Insurers and reinsurers must choose the right perspective and formulate winning strategy such as through partnership, innovation, services, technology etc. Therefore, taking advantage on these challenges would create a long term competitive advantage for the company towards becoming the market leader.

Against this backdrop, The Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII) and the Federation of Afro-Asian Insurers and Reinsurers (FAIR) believe that it is timely to organise the FAIR International Health Insurance Conference under the theme Leveraging Business Challenges to Drive Growth.
