Why is buttocks augmentation done?
Buttocks augmentation is a cosmetic surgery done to enhance the size and shape of a woman’s buttocks by inserting an implant into the buttocks.
How is buttocks augmentation done?
Buttock augmentation can be done either
- with implants
- An incision is made either where the cheek meets back of the thigh or down the buttock crease to create a pocket
- The implants are placed directly under the gluteus maximus muscle or on top of it and the procedure is repeated for the other cheek
- with fat injections
- The buttock is first contoured by performing liposuction in the areas around the buttocks and the fat suctioned from these areas is carefully processed and then injected into the areas of the buttock needing augmentation
