Breast Lift
Why is breast lift surgery done?
Breast lift surgery is a procedure done to raise and reshape sagging breasts occurring as a result of pregnancy, nursing and the ageing process.
How is breast lift surgery done?
- An anchor shaped incision is made along the natural contour of the breast which outlines the area from where the breast skin will be removed as well as defines the new location for the nipple.
- The excess skin is removed, the nipple and areola are moved to the new position and the skin surrounding the areola is brought down together to reshape the breast.
- Finally the incisions are sutured and the breast bandaged to aid healing.
